QURBANI APPEAL 2007

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam, Assalam U Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu.  

We at Mercy Universal would like to ask you to remember the forgotten members of this Ummah on Eid-ul-Adha, a day when Prophet Ibrahim(AS) demonstrated the greatest of sacrifices. We appeal to you to share the blessings of Allah (SWT) with the needy, so they too feel that they are a part of this great Ummah.

Mercy Universal undertakes the performance of Qurbani on behalf of Muslims in the UK and rest of Europe with the hope of bringing some joy and happiness to our downtrodden brothers and sisters, while seeking Allah's(SWT) pleasure in doing so. These Qurbanis are performed in all areas including refugee camps and places which are normallly difficult to access.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "Qurbani is for its owner and there is a reward in each hair". (Tirmidhi).

This year we will be performing Qurbani in Kashmir, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and Somalia, Inshallah.
