We believe that good health and access to healthcare are fundamental human rights. Mercy Universal’s nutrition programmes work to prevent malnutrition and ensure that those who do suffer can gradually recover to full health.and other donations as prescribed.

We work with local doctors and healthcare providers to provide free treatment and medication to poor and needy, young and old, men and women irrespective of their caste, colour or religious beliefs.

Mercy Universal is committed to achieving the health-related Millennium Development Goals which include affirming the right to good health and providing adequate food for all. Mercy Universal plans to do this by supporting the development of sustainable healthcare systems in the areas where we work.

We are guided by a clear health policy. Every year Mercy Universal helps improve the health of thousands of poor people. Mercy Universal works on improving health through primary healthcare in emergency, rehabilitation and development situations.

We provide free healthcare advice, treatment and medicine through our partner organisation to poor and needy children and mothers.
A well balanced nutritious diet is distributed to children and families who are in need and cannot afford.  Our food packages distributed through our partner charities includes, milk, rice, meat and financial aid for other needs.
It is vital to ensure clean water is available to drink.  Mercy Universal provides support to install water pumps, waterwells and where needed water tanks to ensure supply of clean water, not just for the families but the community.
